Fifty percent of the world's population is currently living in cities. And chances are that you are, too!
That’s a serious challenge, but also a great opportunity to transform cities into hubs of innovation for sustainable living.
In the absence of a centralized leadership in sustainable development, it’s really up to the cities to imagine and build better living spaces for our generation and the ones that follow.
In this course, we'll introduce you to best practices in circular economy, urban farming, renewable energy, sustainable transportation, urban forests and green buildings. In each lesson, we'll show you how a major city is tackling these issues in a green way.
We'll also guide you on what resources you can access to learn more about sustainable cities, and give you a few tips to get involved in your community's sustainability projects.
Let's get to it!
